Airbrush Tanning - Tips for a Longer Lasting Tan
Airbrush tanning is making its way into salons and attracting many loyal tanning bed users. Apart from avoiding UVA and UVB rays, airbrush tan techniques are FDA approved and considered a safe and effective way to sport a golden tan. In a matter of approximately one half hour you can have had your spray on tan and within twenty four hours you’ve got the golden glow you were looking for. We have a few suggestions for you airbrush tanners, so that your golden tan lasts as long as possible.
First off, before you go for your spay on tan, make sure to shower and use a body exfoliate the morning of your appointment. Spend extra time exfoliating your arms, feet, elbows and knees. It is better to go to your tanning appointment without make up, deodorant, lotions or cosmetics so that the chemicals do not have any chance to interact. Some prefer to wear a bathing suit or under garments to the appointment, and if you do make sure it is one you don’t mind getting discolored. Others prefer to go au natural in order to avoid tanning lines.
Patience pays off. After your airbrush tan make sure to let the tanning lotion dry off completely. We suggest you wait between five and seven minutes. Wear baggy clothes so that you’re not rubbing off the newly dried airbrush tan solution. Don’t go swimming, take a bath or shower for at least eight hours and soon you’ll be sporting a bronzed airbrush tan that will last you up to about a week. Moisturize as much as possible to keep your healthy glow as long as possible.
